12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

But i dont really know what that number means.

Is that good or not?

I have no clue where im at.

I am reffering to HU SnGs obv.

thx guys

It can't be bad. What level are you playing???

ROI = return on investment

It is calculated by: (total profit/total buyin) x 100

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

thx for your response. This number comes from 4-tabling 10$ HU SnGs.
I just didnt know where im at (still dont really know^^).

Maybe some of you can post your ROI.

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

I think it's pretty impressive considering that you are 4-tabling. Multi-tabling will decrease your ROI most likely, but increase your $/hr. What kind of sample size is this over???

I have a 19% roi 1-2 tabling the 33's over about 450 games since moving back down. If I was 4-tabling I doubt I would even have a + ROI.

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

This means that for every $1 of investment , you will get back $1.1281 or about $1 and 13 cents .

Note that your investment includes the buy-in which includes the rake as well . So if you invest $100 + $5 in an sng , then you profit x/$105 = 0.1281 , or x=$13.4505 .

Just check that 13.4505/105 = 0.1281

================================================== =========

You may also compute your win rate from these numbers .If y is your win-rate and x is your ROI we need to solve the equation (2*y-1.05)/1.05=x or 2y-1.05 = 1.05x

y=(1.05x+1.05)/2

So if we plug x=.1281 we get that your sample win rate is
y=0.5922525 or y=59.22525% .

thx for your responses.

This is only over 10k samplesize so maybe it is only some positive variance...

10,000 $10 husng's????

lol yeah 10k hands obv.

It is too short a samplesize to really say sth. about the ROI, right?

im not sure about this post.

Are you serious or am i just getting leveled?

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

he's serious

4 tabling any level and having a 10%+ roi is really difficult

most of us have a hard time playing any more than 2 at a time

vodoo 11-07-2007 04:14 PM

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

ok so thank you all.

I try to 5-table sometimes but then it gets a little bit harder^^

My br is splitted between the pokerrooms so i moved down from the 20$s to the 10$s.

But i was also really successful in 4-tabling 20$s, i will see how far i get

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

did you have to work your way up to 4 tabling??? or are you just naturally capable of keeping up with 4 games at once???

my head hurts when i play that many

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

I'm sure I could do 4 on PS now that I can do 2 on FTP no problem. At least at a low level I don't think it would be THAT hard.

It would be more of a straightforward form of poker and I'm sure I wouldn't pick up the same details of the game I pick up now.

FWIW I think BCM regularly 3-4 tables the 220-550s.

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

Really nice ROI considering you 4-table.

3-4 tabling the 220-550s.. Being able to do that profitable that's just sick!

are u one of those annoyingly slow guys that it almost gets down to your time bank every hand before acting, when 4 tabling?

i CANT play well against people who use max time every decision

I can't either, it usually drives me nuts.. so I start taking forever then trying to piss them off. Then I get fed up with it and just want it to end.

Either that or the 120 game sample.

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

the ROI is important but the thing to calculate should be your $/hr. If you have a super high ROI in a lower stakes game and a moderate ROI in a middle stake game but make more $ then that's all that matters.

no actually im playing really fast imo.

Even faster than the average player there.

Maybe its just too short a samplesize.

What do you think how much of a samplesize do i need?

1k SnGs?

ChicagoRy 11-08-2007 11:16 PM

Re: 12.81 ROI % HU-SNgs

400-600 should be fine.
