Villain is gamble4you, an aggressive winning regular. He's running at 25/18/4.4, turn AF of 3.5, river AF of 3.9. Other than that I don't know much about him. Likewise, he probably doesn't know much about me (I'm new to 5/10). From his perspective, it's unlikely that I have a set (or a big hand in general). I think he either thinks that I could have a 7 or a midpair and he is putting pressure on me, or he thinks that I could have a flush draw and he is bluffing. What do I do and what's my plan for the river? |
Re: (5/10) Overpair against aggressive opponent

Re: (5/10) Overpair against aggressive opponent
I just wanted to add that its also painfully obv exactly what op's hand here is. So I guess this really depends on what gamble thinks you think of him
|
Re: (5/10) Overpair against aggressive opponent
also depends on what mode he's in atm.
|
Re: (5/10) Overpair against aggressive opponent
call turn and check/evaluate on the river

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] call, c/call river [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] omg insta puke. lead somewhere. [/ QUOTE ] why would u lead any street here. I guess I could see leading the turn but even that puts us in a really bad spot imo. Leading flop or "x" river is terrible imo |
Re: (5/10) Overpair against aggressive opponent
on the river our hand looks like exactly what it is. turn lead > river lead imo.
