99 - How\'s my line
Villain is 54/14/1.81
Is this pretty standard, I raised the flop to get value from all 8x hands. Is calling the turn ok if I'm going to fold to a river shove? Re: 99 - How\'s my line
to be honest with you, I would need more of a read to say how I feel about the hand.
First off - you don't raise enough on the flop. There's $8 in the pot before you match his bet. Once you raise he only has to call $5 into a $15 pot. He's getting decent odds with a lot of money he can still make. If you match his bet, there's $10.50 in the pot. Bet closer to the pot... $10. if you think you're behind on the turn, you should fold then. If you have reason to believe you're ahead, you should raise then. If he's donking into you 2 streets, its wishful thinking that you're not going to have to pay a third street. |

Villain is 54/14/1.81 [/ QUOTE ] Need to know the sample size. Villain seems to be LAG but low PostFlop AF. Without a sample size its difficult to determine his playing style. Given this information I would put him on a set or 2pr. He seems to be playing a lot of hands so 85/52/55/88/22 are all hands you need to be wary of. His turn and river stength are especially telling, because his low PostFlop AF is only 1.8 he is very strong imo. Release your hand on the turn. |
Re: 99 - How\'s my line
This guy bets every steet and you think he has a ten? He either has you beat on the flop or he is just bound and determined to take this pot down. Nothing has changed between the flop and the river. I would make the flop raise right around ~$10 as well.

how big is hand sample? for a 1.8 hes reppin a big hand :O [/ QUOTE ] It's over about 100 hands and as far as reads go I've seen him limp call with AJo from the CO. Apart from not raising enough on the flop how's my line. Would it be better to just call down against this player, or raise flop and get in on the the turn? |
Re: 99 - How\'s my line

wy didnt u raise turn and fold to river allin??? [/ QUOTE ] because if he raises turn he is committed assuming a) the villain shoves over the top of that, and c) the river bet would be uber tiny if one even happened (likely in on the turn). |
Re: 99 - How\'s my line
I think folding turn here is OK. I also think flat calling the flop and betting/raising most turns here is OK as well since we have position and will likely not be committed.
