just found out. coach told us at practice that this might happen but now that it's official it is just too insane. all my friends and i are going crazy.

i am so psyched to play. a really cool way to play my last football game ever haha. f the haters who want gameday at auburn v georgia. gooooooooo ephs!!!!!!!!!

Ya we were LOL'ing at the absurdity of it all when it was mentioned as a possibility but now that it's happening we're just kind of in a state of shock and really pumped.

What's the story with tailgating these days? I remember hearing that there were some restrictions on it in the past few years, which is a bit of a shame.

One of my boys from high school is/was on your team (I don't know if he's still playing) - Rob Chambers. Don't know what happened to that kid because I'm not quite sure if he's on the team anymore; I'm sure you know better than I do.

To my knowledge, I've only played in one nationally televised game (v. LSU last year on ESPN2, and we lost by 42 points, YAY!) but it was a f*ckin' rush (or maybe playing in Tiger Stadium was?). Have fun, man; enjoy your last collegiate game. . .I miss it a ton.

ya a couple years ago an amherst student hit the chief of police for williamstown in the head w/ a beer can so they cracked down on that and now u gotta smuggle it in or buy it inside. i imagine w/ everything going on things are going to be a complete madhouse and hopefully not as strict.

I have never met a single person who went to Williams that wasn't aggressively douchey. They're sort of like Duke graduates, except (thankfully) there's less of them.

I feel this way about people from Boston, but they seem to be everywhere!!!!!!!!! jk, i like them for the most part except they're a little too big for their britches atm w/ the red sox/pats/celtics/bc no longer (ty FSU)

Its not like there is a huge game ESPN is missing out on. The only ranked v. ranked matchup next week is Auburn v Georgia. The National Title contenders are gonna roll.

Do you guys even know what college gameday is?
It's a preview-program that they do live from a different campus each week. They talk about all the games coming up that day and a bunch of fans turn out in the morning to be part of the background and try to get on TV while the hosts are talking.

This does not mean that they are showing the actual game.

Although since they are doing the show from there I guess it's likely they'll show the score and a couple highlights.
