i\'m crying right now...

TEARS OF [censored] JOY BABY

story mode:

so i'm starting my 2/4 session looking for tables...i get on one with an insanely high avg. pot, like 4x or 5x normal, and see this hand:

Poker Stars, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

BB: $936
UTG: $400
CO: $818
BTN: $394
Hero (SB): $396

Pre-Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $11</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">BB raises to $20</font>, CO calls $9

Flop: ($42) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $32</font>, CO calls $32

Turn: ($106) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $232</font>, CO calls $232

River: ($570) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $260</font>, CO calls $260

Results: $1,090 Pot ($2 Rake)
BB showed J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Fours) and WON $1,088 (+$544 NET)
CO mucked T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and LOST (-$544 NET)

CO is TalentedTom who is a regular...obviously BB must be completely retarded. 2 hands later i play this one w/ him:

Poker Stars, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

SB: $1,480
BB: $400
UTG: $400
CO: $394
Hero (BTN): $394

Pre-Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
<font color="red">UTG raises to $14</font>, CO folds, Hero calls $14, SB calls $12, BB folds

Flop: ($46) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)

Turn: ($242) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $282 and is All-In</font>, SB calls $282

River: ($806) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

SB showed T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (high card Ace) and LOST (-$394 NET)
Hero showed 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a straight, Five to Nine) and WON $804 (+$410 NET)

he leaves the table after this and i decide to search him. he's at another table so i sit obv. i think he loses some $400 pot and then this happens:

Poker Stars, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

BB: $183
UTG: $398
MP: $984.70
CO: $562
Hero (BTN): $400
SB: $376

Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
3 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $14</font>, SB folds, BB calls $10

Flop: ($30) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $20</font>, Hero calls $20

River: ($174) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $97 and is All-In</font>, Hero calls $97

Results: $368 Pot ($3 Rake)
BB showed 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (high card King) and LOST (-$183 NET)
Hero showed J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a pair of Queens) and WON $365 (+$182 NET)

sweet this guy sucks. he leaves again and joins another table. this continues for probably 20 minutes with me and TalentedTom and eventually Staring_Elf following him to every single table, him playing less than 1 orbit then leaving. conveniently he is sucking out/coolering Tom the whole time so he isn't busto. it's all 2/4 tables and one 3/6 table. then i search him, quickly doubleclick his table and am staring at ******* (the fish) heads up with alexeimartov at 25/50 wtf.

fish has 3k in play and i had to act quick because he typically only plays a few hands. my roll is 35k so it was pretty scary sitting at 25/50. i buy in for 3k to match him and sit. Tom and StaringElf sit with 5k. i think alexei takes a small pot off the fish and then this happens:

Poker Stars, $25/$50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

BB: $2,237.30
UTG: $4,925
Hero (CO): $2,725
BTN: $5,598
SB: $10,122

Pre-Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $175</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">BB raises to $500</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2,725 and is All-In</font>, BB calls $1,737.30 and is All-In

Flop: ($4,499.60) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Turn: ($4,499.60) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: ($4,499.60) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $4,499.60 Pot ($2 Rake)
BB showed A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (high card Ace) and LOST (-$2,237.30 NET)
Hero showed 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Deuces) and WON $4,497.60 (+$2,260.30 NET)

Re: i\'m crying right now...

i like how you made the opening raise with with the intent of getting it all in against a random hand (this was best case scenario, assuming he folds nothing), where your equity is &lt; 50%.

you outplayed the fish big time.

i have 35 hands on him from the session (over about 7 tables lol) and he managed to get a full 100bb+ stack in in 16 of those hands.

god i wanted to bust him so bad....
i'm pretty sure nowhere near as bad as tom though

i agree with why are you flipping against this guy for 3k??? get an edge please?

staring_elf 11-05-2007 05:31 PM

Re: i\'m crying right now...

the weird thing is he probably only lost 200 bucks total. he just keep doubling up over and over and joining a new table for 100bb til he had enough for 25/50 then bustoed it all in one go.

Wait...what.
First table...you say you sit down and notice bb is a total retard. So then you proceed to play a huge pot with a marginal hand against...sb. Makes no sense.

Whats more important is that he's up a little less than $600 on the guy and decides to flip for about $2500. I wonder which one of them would have been posting if that last hand went the other way?
