Ok I have made some 3-bets. He has seen me 3-bet with Q2s. But I have not done anything else crazy. He is somewhat laggy. What do you think about my play and his?

this is the exact reason why he did it. Hes annoying and you make plays like this with AJ here, so he thinks his image is good and gets 80BB in.

If your range includes Q2s then any PP is happy to get it in here. If your image is crap then you have to realize that you can't keep trying to bully someone. 99 is good hand to make a stand.

But that range is so narrow compared to your full range. Keep trying to bluff people when you have a bad image, that'll help your winrate.

you shouldn't waste time worrying about the soundness of what other people do, unless you've got money invested in them or something.

if the guy had called you with a full house, or a pair of aces or something, then you might wonder what hands your bluff would have folded out, and whether or not it was a good bluff. since you got called by a 99, you already have your answer.

You just need to move up where they respect your raises. In the 10/20 games no one would ever get it all in with 99 on this board! We can just play hu 10/20 if you prefer..

You know, that min 3-bet crap looks like exactly what you have. If you don't want to fold then shove. Although against a guy who my only read is that he's 3-betting some stupid hands, I'd snap call the shove after checking raising with 99.

No, what is his range when he pushes? I think his range has you drawing to at most 6 outs.
