******November Goals Thread******
 

Haven't done one of these in a few months. Let's all get motivated and have a huge month.

My goals:

1) Play a minimum of 600 33's. No monetary goals. Results will follow.
2) Don't berate the fishies.
3) Get my ass to the gym 5-6 days a week.
4) Be nicer to DaveT.

Start actually going to lectures at college
Buy Sharkscope and TourneyManager and some books (get VISA)

I speak for us all: That is one of the many highlights of our other-wise rotting existence in front of these computers.

Clearly you did actually lose, because you don't even know what's going on.

Asking questions, and trying to get clarification (my approach made sense to me, I was trying to get an explanation of what was wrong with it), is not the same as arguing.

And if you weren't such a clueless donk, you would know (especially since I've specifically TOLD you like 4 times now), that I was more than happy to agree in the end that I didn't know what the hell I was doing.

I honestly can't recall a post from either of you individual players (Nixon and Shark) because all I see is flaming or complex equations in all of your posts. The rare good buyin or mathematical analysis is clouded by all these back and forth flames or unnecessary math situations (in some clear shove/fold hands).

You guys should just seriously play each other like 60 games a day until somebody is broke and then the loser is banned from this forum.

For the first time in the history of poker, both players are sitting out and e-mailing support asking for a chop in a 2 player heads up tournament. The movie "Pi" came on TV and neither player could will himself to continue.

If jay_shark would just realize what a complete dumbass he's been in every single argument we've ever had, there would be far fewer flames.

I generally don't start flaming until he's been an ignorant retard at least 3 times on the same topic.

I think once I did have to retract the flames after it was sufficiently shown that *I* was the one being the ignorant retard. He has yet to even realize it, though, much less admit it. And this last one's really got my blood boiling, because it's just so blatantly clear that he's in a completely different universe...

It happens for a number of reasons.

The main reason is I send out money to friends. This is bad cuz I usually don't work with much anyways and play small stakes. Another reason is I cashed out way too early last winter, never really recovered too well (hard to recover when you keep shipping money out to friends). All that and occassionally I tilt away a few bucks.

But yes, you did catch me at a bad time this summer. At one point I didn't have much to work with and lost my job on top of that. Don't worry, I'll grind my way to millionaire status in no time playing the $6's and $4/180s.

My goal:

Stop being a calling station. Make more laydowns. When a nit raises a couple hundred, there is paired board, muck straight. When a nit raises a couple hundred, there is three flush board, muck straight. Muck two pair when a nit raises on three straight board. etc...

Stop tilting.

I hate this...you have to be kidding. Most of the time Heads up your opponent does not have a boat when the board pairs, EVEN when he raises. A str8 is often well concealed and he doesnt realize you have it, you cannot just lay it down that easy when there is a pair on board.
