Politics as usual...as they say

Well, it's just politics as usual...
I see the presidency as a juggling act
But mostly in thinking ahead.
Kind of like a long line of ideas that don't take shape
until long after a president's term.
So when we fight among eachother for saying I like this one
And you're all wrong.
It's like going in reverse and it shows little care for anything but personal aims, and a pig-headed desire for power,
What I see on this forum is very little intelligent debate
(I didnt make the best post either a few days ago)
But tired talking points and basless debasing of character
I see no progress in the political system.
Although some how, since God does to bless America, We come out unscathed in the grand line of puppets and hands that dictate our lives- and the machines behind the black curtain of the puppet stage ruthlessly begs for more destruction only to be made defunct by the outrage of the wronged- a gallop towards utopia-
which none of you will be a part of.

<<<opens flood gate of the programmed retarded internet politcal debators>>>>>

That's an interesting statement considering you can't even form complete sentences or paragraphs. And the content of your post is just random name-calling.

"Can someone give me a reason why I can't be free?

Is it because of the global warmings? Is it because there is a Mexican Southerner Spaniard German Japanese Russian Korean Vietnamese Arab under my bed? Is it because of spam in my mailbox? Is it because of poor people? Is it because of sick people? Is it because I'm a danger to myself? Is it because of the children? Is it because of AIDS? Is it because of a man on the moon? Is it because of fires in my house? Or because of lighthouses on the shore? Or is it that I wasn't born in the right place? Maybe it's because of the Bald Eagle or the Tasmanian Tiger.

Please, tell me: why can't I be free?"

Much.

Here's two things.

1) Prison Reform
I want to see less tough prosecution on non-violent drug dealers or users. Instead, the federal and state prosecutors should be focusing much more heavily on white collar crime. We have huge overcrowding in our prisons and many people are there simply for selling weed or having too much in their possesion. So I also think legalizing weed is a top priority as it will have a chain reaction of depopluting are jails and prisons and would be a big lift to the economy.

2) The second thing is the protection of endangered species and heavy investemnt in alternative energies. Also, a public awareness of global warming and the disatorous domino effect of animal species being gone forever.

These are just two things I want to see change. I think these two things should be obvious serious concerns of every concerned citizen. I'm certainly not the first to point these things out, but it doesn't hurt to repeat them.

It's also important to note that people coming out of prison should have some sort of integration back into society, maybe some basic english skills and therapy. It's understandable that many of the non-violent drug offenders are bitter at times.

Also, for the ron paul for president guy.
What I really don't like about Ron Paul is that he is a rabid pro-lifer and I have problem with legalizing drugs like heroin and other drugs. I only think weed should be legalized.

Where the F did I say my opionion is better than his. And also, we both made statements. Why are you trying to fuel the fire here and get this guy all riled up against me? I like what he said, I found it original. But it sounded a little bitter and I said that I understood why he may be feeling bitter. I don't get why you have to say something like that and get this man mad at me.
I make this whole thread and answer some questions. The Ron Paul guy ducks out after his snide remark and then you come marching in with your little bit of nothingness.

Why don't you go take a trip to Russia and meet the polar bear?

Norway I have much respect for their government because they opted out of the European Union in the name of soverignty and not money.
The senate and congress are not the ones that want an invasive state. They simply do what big money tells them to do. However, it is important to note that when we talk about a war with Iran, most citizens in Iran want the US to invade them to topple that horrible regime they have.
Unfortunatly, it's the world bank that has made a mess of things globaly in the name of christian missionaries, particularly in Africa. Luckily many famous hollywood types from the US have combated that trend in Africa to heal the world bank wound. Is it called invasive when the US attacked Nazi Germany when no other country would take a stand? Do any of us know what progress has been made in Iraq and who is to be praised for that? Do we know the great blunders that were made in Iraq in the name of greed and who is to be blamed for that?
I didn't want to focus on this issue because I don't know much about what exactly it is that the US is doing in Iraq. One thing I do know is that regimes such as the Taliban, Al-qaida and the one in Iran and North Korea commit horrible atrocities and are even worse than the religous fundamentalist in our own country and it's hard to sit back and watch. But at the same time, The US has it weakest dollar, a great recession looms, and many people in the US now have to choose whether to eat or heat their residences. So you can also make an argument that we need to focus on ourselves and do whatever it takes to take care of our own citizens and help build back the dollar by any means.

Oops. I'll talk about that.
But first let me just say that politicians are not completly controlled by big money, they do have some freewill they just need to take a stand sometimes. That's why I liked JFK so much when I read about him. He went after organized crime, said he wouldn't tke orders from the pope. He was what a president should be, he did his best to speak for the people wihtout special interests getting in the way. So I agree with campaign finance reform. That's a biggy. Second, not all of "big money" behingd the scene has bad intentions. I'm a capatilist, I believe it works best when regulated. But unregulated capitalism can become like communism. 2nd, when i said Iranians want a war I should have refrenced a source. This source was an opinion piece a reader sent in to the boston globe. she was coming back from anti war rally and met an Iranian on the bus who told her 4/5 Iranians want a war.

so domestic invasiveness i'll get back on I can't really get into that off the top of my head I will have to do some research and get back to you on that.
