Re: The right control and shift buttons

Not to be too nitty but you're supposed to use the right-shift whenever you need to CAP a letter typed with the left hand. So I used the right shift for C, A and S in this post. [/nittiness][sleep]

Edit: If you are constantly typing with only one hand then the above rule does not apply. Perv.

I have always used the left pinky to shift any letter on the keyboard and in no way feel awkward about doing so. I want a damn LOZL key.

I am an idiot

I actually hit the caps lock button on, then hit the letter i want to capitalize, then hit the caps lock button off.

This is how I learned to do it when i was like 10 or so and haven't ever been able to break the habit.

Re: The right control and shift buttons

Wow that is like the worst typing habit I've ever heard of. Always using the caps lock button would be really annoying.

My bad typing skills are pretty much typing with just three or four fingers, but I manage to type around 80 wpm so I think I'm OK not knowing the "proper" method of typing.

Re: The right control and shift buttons

Wow you must type really slow. A mouse went in the woods And said Anthar there you Are. ya i cant use the right shift key very fast at all.

I can type 60+ wpm using the caps lock button.

It's still retarded though, I know.

The right shift and ctrl keys are too far away so no one uses them.

Did you use it for the E?

Capital A's = left shift + move your left ring finger over a space, ez game.

I use the right alt key every once in awhile for a shortcut to the "Back" button on websites.

Alt+Left Arrow
