Big Grapes On Full Tilt
 

Who is this? Among pros Huck Seed is considered an excellent razz player but this player spanked him when they played about 6 months ago.
Is he a known player?

It is just unusual for someone to be one dimensional in Razz rather than other games in the current poker climate.

He posts on here very infrequently under that name. I know he played a few world series events this year, but not sure how he did.

I've only ever seen him play Razz and Stud/8. I'm not sure how he built his bankroll so high only playing those games. He used to sit at 1k/2k Razz a lot, so he's obviously doing well.

Where in the US do they spread high limit stud/razz games outside of Larry Flynts game?

don't they spread 1k/2k or 500/1k stud in ac often? or is it just big weekends? last time i was there they had a 1k/2k stud table at caeser's.

Because a few people with a lot of money play those games very poorly.

i have Been watching Big Grapes play(or sit as he does most of the time) at the high stakes razz tables for sometime. I just wish there were some more people out there to play him. I once watched him and Ivey play 500/1k or 1k/2k razz which was awesome.

from what i hear, he started off playing very poorly at moderate stakes and now he plays very well at high stakes. -ba

I play with Grapes a decent amount at Razz up to 200/400. He plays very well. I know a little about his high stakes endeavours but do not wish to discuss them without his permission.

all i know is that i used to play him heads up in Stud 8 20-40 on Paradise a few years ago and he wouldnt play me cause "I didnt play fair". I was thinking really?, im just kinda messin around.

so in other words he gets staked for those games when he's running hot...fair enough. i remember him having some big swings at the beginning of the year wit 100k+ and 100k- sessions when the 1/2k tables where running hot. he then disappeared for a little while and then came back.

I doubt he would need to be staked, I am pretty sure he earned enough of a bankroll to play in the biggest razz games.

Just a bit of an interesting player really. So few players have razz as their speciality. It is one of the few poker games that is close to being solvable because of its huge basis on mathematics.
