Deep, 3 street, balls out shenanigans.

Hero and villain hate each other and have been playing accordingly. like he literally threatend to kill me several times in chat lol. really. we have some rediculous history and have been trading stacks for over an hour at 5 different tables. were like 600BB deeep on one and our average stacks are like 300BBs. He's normally like 27/20 but tonight hes a crazy LAGfish running 34/23. He does stupid [censored] pretty often but definitely does have some understanding of the game. possibly drunk or tilted.

In a recent 400BB pot i 3bet him with ATs on Btn, called his min 4 bet, floated the Q-high flop with a flsuhdraw, got there on the turn, potted it, and then shoved river, stacking his KK.

You have a terrible image, against a tilted opponent, and you're trying this? Seems like you're getting looked up pretty often.

Re: Deep, 3 street, balls out shenanigans.

i suppose you canīt fold preflop given youre history. 3betting prob isnīt that good either b/c you wonīt get called very of with worse (donīt know how true that statement is against this particular player)
flop standard cbet, picks up the pot very often.
turn: I donīt like we only has a gutshot and villain will c/r a good partion off the time. ond we only have 3 outs.
on the river you basically only fold out Kxs and i donīt think he calls with too many of those the preflop 3bet.
so imo turn is bad and i donīt see what we fold on the river.

called by what though? can he have any hand that is willing to call off over 120BB's on a totally blank river that he doesnt raise the turn with?

Are you sure he'd raise the turn with made hands? Do you think he's folding Ax?

meh. not a huge fan given the history between you and the fact that I can't for the life of me think of a hand that he'd call two streets with and end up folding this river.

KcKx, QcQx, weak AcX, random wiffed gutshots like 35s/34s etc?

I'm sure a tilted aggro monkey always slowplays these preflop.

Agree with this. Given history with hero 3betting QT in pos, its very likely that when he gets 3betting here he's calling with A-anything. I think its very likely that he's just calling on every street as he thinks ur going to give up at some stage and he doesnt want to push turn and get snapped my a monster. However, although i think it is likely that he's c/calling u pf flop and turn, im not confident that he can lay it down on the river if he is on tilt or watever. The last point is, of course, debatable and depends almost wholly on his current mindset.

Re: Deep, 3 street, balls out shenanigans.

How often has he been raising UTG and with what types of hands? How often has he called a reraise after an UTG raise and with what hands?

Seems to me that he may have called the flop hoping you would check the turn or thinking he would fold if you bet. But, then the turn card helped him and he decided to stay.

If he has an A10 or better, he's not folding.

whoops results...

bluffing looks bad to me cos i see him calling with a lot of hands he c/ced the turn with, notably a lot of aces probably.

as played, puke
check behind on Flop
If you feel you have to cbet, just give up when the Turn card falls

I would love this with AQ if youv been bluffing him and hes frustrated very much. Sick thin valuebet then.

If you think he can fold some Ax's I think this is pretty hot. Also your bet sizing is very nice.

Re: Deep, 3 street, balls out shenanigans.

turn bet isn't really good because villain is peeling any high club. i like pf and flop/give up on turn.

Re: Deep, 3 street, balls out shenanigans.

Once he calls two streets on an A high board i'd just give up, I don't think it's worth tossing another BI away imo. Tilty opponents hate folding.

well if theres anythign to take away fom this hand, i think i nailed the betsizing. but thats it. villain instahellmuthiansnapcalled the river with 22 and MHINNNNNNG. i got completely pwned.

i really really thougt villain had exactly KcKx hera nad that he would HAVE to fold the river, but he played my overaggroass perfectly

Re: Deep, 3 street, balls out shenanigans.

his range is kinda big on the turn here

if he's drunk/tilted then it could be as wide as like 88 or 99 w/ a club, but usually it's A8+ and usually a club

i think on the river you'll fold out 99 and TT, def not 88 or A8 and probably rarely AT+, given your description

EDIT: you'll fold out QJ/KJ w/ clubs too

Re: Deep, 3 street, balls out shenanigans.

LOL, yea this is from Sunday night after I drank all day watching football.
Just as a note, I only remember like 3 hands from that night, I do remember drk_sde, and I do remember being on tilt, but I was so drunk I don't remember anything else. I also remember that when I woke up the next morning pokertracker showed me up $200 and I had no idea how because I woke up still pissed off and I figured I tilted off like a few hundred.

Edit - And just as a note, I definately wasn't the one that escalated this, I have the chat that started all of this and the only thing I told drk_sde for the first 40 hands after he started berating me like crazy was this exact quote:
JohnFR said, "I'm the worst player of all time"
He wouldn't let it go and continued to harass me until he actually got my temper going then I let loose, I'm not proud of what I said, but I can say with a clear conscious that I would have never spoke to him except he was constantly berating me in chat.
