Sick grind prop bets?

So there is a thread in STTc where spacegravy is trying to make 25k at the 60's turbos. Link Here

I am not looking for action cause I have a hard time at playing 50k hands a month.

But, how many hands is the max do you think some sick grinder could put out. (in a month)

250k?
300k?
400k?

How much profit.... 25k?, 40k? assuming 200nl

Anyone up for something sick in like January haha.

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

I dunno why anyone would wanna play 12k hands a day every day for a month. That's ridiculous, go outside. Prop bets to this much of an extreme are retarded imo and will only kill your bankroll.

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

i remember back in like april thru to July i was doing 100khands/month and found that difficult to do 9 tabling...another 2p2er that was playing same game as me was doing 140k months 9 tabling and im pretty sure he also found that difficult to do as well, so for someone to pull off even 200k in 1 month is a pretty sick accomplishment imo. I dont think anyone could do 250k hands in 1 month.

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

Mehhh, I could probably do 125k if I absolutely had to, but I'd rather just put in 50k, make 6bb/100 and be able to go out on weekends and enjoy life.

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

if you make $150/hr at 200nl, you need to average 8.5hrs/day everyday for a month to make $40k

just saying...

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

prop bets can be ok if its for a reasonable amount of hands. i have no doubt that someone could make 25k playing 100-150k hands of nl200 in a month, but i think this would have to be a huge strain on your quality of life which sucks balls.

i mean i made 62k hands this month with a 5.2 multitable ratio and it was a burn out at the end. i can't even imagine how much life would suck with those amounts of hands unless ur very good at 12 tabling.

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

200k hands / month seems like the max you could do. Maybe someone could do like 220k or 230k but not more than that for sure.

True told me that when he was a sick LHE grinder he used to play in excess of 200k a month at times

if you do too much money, that is when lieing and falsifying your 'proof' would become more frequent.

rofl @ 250k hands not doable. I think 400k is where you start talking about "sick grind" bets. For a regular person though, 200k is probably the outside limit of retarded

lol, as if I would come close to those. I'm merely saying, 100k hands is not "sick grinding"

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

If you were a 16-tabler or even a 12 tabler a lot of these figures are doable with a strong work ethic. I mean I know poker is different but if you even just worked a "standard" 160 hours in a month at 1K hands an hour theres 160k right there. Whether your play would suffer and you'd bust your roll or go insane is another story.

It's super easy to falsify pt records, accept prop bets of this nature at your own risk.

It is for some of us. Anything over 50k hands is super hard for me, and I end up taking 2 week breaks.

Doesn't tresfull21 play a lot of hands a month? Somebody should ask him.

Precise_ 10-31-2007 09:46 PM

Re: Sick grind prop bets?

200K is definitly doable, esp. if you're talking 12-tabling and have a sick work ethic.
This would even be doable 8tabling although you're talking 12 hour days for a month.

say you average 800 hands per hour 12tabling it would take 240 hours, which is only 8 hours per day.
If you averaged 10 hours a day then you got 300K hands.

hell, i got in almost 80K this month 8tabling and I didnt even play the first half of month.

i think i could do 300k in a month, but i doubt anyone would make it worth my while.

i.e. sacrificing health (from lack of exercise), failing some classes, etc
