villain seems a bit on the fishy side. haven't tangled in a big pot yet. he's been sucking out on a bunch of people to get his stack. normally calls my cbets, and possibly trys to float quite a bit, at least it seems that way from the few pots we've played. I have $500+ left facing his raise. can you find a fold here?

yes i can

does check/calling river make me a pussy?

i dont even know what to think here bc imo it depends on what kind of fishy he is.

Instamuck the river, I'd probably bet a bit bigger on the flop and turn though.

what are we putting him on? if he's fishy you don't think he'll ever do this with JJ/QQ?

It seems that if you do bet bigger on those streets you won't be getting away from this hand on the river then.

OP- Really not sure if I like your bet sizing here. If he seems fishy and will float/call light and such, I probably would look to make my bets closer to pot sized.

As played, you got a one way ticket to valuetown come river.

definitely bet bigger on the flop. he's a fish and that board has a ton of draws.

It's possible, but very unlikely. A guy who plays JJ QQ like this raises on the flop or at the very least on the turn if he thinks JJ is the nuts. It's very likely he has 3x or is full.
