400NL - Need a little help with betsizing

Villain is littlerock09, relatively unknown, probably taggish and solid if I had to guess. I think he raised in the CO or button in both of the last 2 orbits and took the blinds both times. My image should be taggish as well.

Full Tilt Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

CO: $349.60
BTN: $502.90
Hero (SB): $438.40
BB: $608.55
UTG: $430.90

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, CO raises to $14, BTN folds, Hero raises to $52, BB folds, CO calls $38

Flop: ($108) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets ?

What's my bet here and why?

think of what you'd bet with AA, KK, JJ, AK, 23, etc.... and then bet it. They shouldn't be that much different.

I think checkraise is better here, it sucks when you bet/call ai against AK/Q

Id give up right here. So drawy and such a nice flop to get it in for the villan. Hes not folding, and I dont see what he will fold.

true that he's not folding, i dunno waht he's folding, and i really don't see what he would fold so he's probably not folding

lolol

b/c $88 without history. With a c/r seems nice but I don't see unknown b/f too often here cause c/r in 3bet pots looks so bluffy.

if you crai here with some of your strong hands i think you can try to do it here to add a bit of balance...otherwise yeah just bet whatever you would with KK or something

Checking is clearly the best play, then make your decision based on how much he bets.

Also, can we please stop using terms like "balance" in spots like this? (Scooby)

C/r seems really awkward to me. I doubt a thinking TAG would believe me at all.

Re: 400NL - Need a little help with betsizing

$75 or c/rai.
C/rai would have some FE and might get you the free card if villain checks behind flop.
$75 because it looks fairly strong... if u bet more it would look like you have AK imo.

If I'm betting, it's around $85. It will discourage bluff raises more than something like $55-70 and it also leaves you with a perfect amount to shove the turn if you get called and hit.

Re: 400NL - Need a little help with betsizing

And obviously we have to bet a similar amount with our monsters too.
