Didn't say I wanted to watch a movie full of lies and half-truths.... I guess watching a clip of Gore accepting the Nobel PEACE Price would be scary to me since HE DID NOTHING TO PROMOTE PEACE!!!!!

watched lots of horror movies, and the dawn of the dead remake has been the only one to flash me

Scariest movie I ever saw was definitely Audition.

Japanese horror, but far more frightening than crap like The Ring or the Grudge. I had nightmares for a week after that.

Trivia from the imdb pas: When the film was screened at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2000 it had a record number of walkouts. At the Swiss premiere someone passed out and needed emergency room attention.

Is that scary enough for ya?

EDIT: that sheep movie looks scarier.

The Ring didn't scare me at all and I haven't seen Grudge

still loving that sheep trailer, watched it three times now

if you haven't seen 28 weeks later, you should prolly rent it. It's slow to start up but it's pretty raw.

Other than that, I dunno... face's of death? anything sandra bullock? the home video of did's dancing around in a polyester batman costume? dude, whatever floats your boat is cool with me, just share the did's video.

Salem's lot was a solid movie. Classic scary movie, simple and gets the job done.

i find atmospheric stuff like the shining and lost highway far scarier and nightmare-inducing than slasher pics

nightwatch (ewan mcgregor) is a pretty creepy thriller most people havent heard of

Lost highway isn't so much scary as unsettling/creepy. Awesome movie though, I wish I had it to watch right now.

You guys suck per horror movie scares. Ichi the Killer? That's just a gore flick, not scary at all. Though The Shining is a good pick, Black Sheep is decent as well. Audition is ok.

I would suggest the following for pure "jump out of your seat/have nightmares type scares".

I personally am most affected by a Korean flick known as
A Tale Of Two Sisters AKA Hongryeon Janghwa

But this one is mostly subtle mixed with only a few purely jump out of your seat scary moments. I'm more affected by the cinematography, color/saturation effects, and the soundtrack because I was originally a video student.

Yeah, Saw isn't scary, but it makes my stomach turn better than any other movie/series I've ever watched.
