2/4 is the lowest limit game. They spread 1/2 100max NL though.

If your bankroll is big enough for live $1/2 Limit, then it is big enough for live $2/4 Limit.

I miss the good old 1/3 spread limit game at the Stone. Also, the pink button.

They did when I was there (3 years ago?). 1/1 blinds. Too funny. 8 limpers to the flop, $8 in the middle, and when that flops hits you, fire that $1 bet in there.

There's no 1/2 limit in AC (either), by the way.

If someone's bankroll isn't big enough for 2/4, just stay out of a casino. You're broke and that's all there is too it "bankroll" is irrelevent at a game where you aren't going to beat the rake anyways.

lol, that is probably sound advice. I was figuring on 300 BB's as a proper bankroll. Well, I'll be finished paying off the motorcycle soon, so then I'll be able to save up some playing money.

I don't think you need $1200 to make your first attempt at 2/4 limit poker. Take $120 and play tight. See some cheap flops with small and medium pairs, suited connectors and one-gappers, and otherwise play your big aces, and big pairs and you'll be fine. Take another $120 if you want a little more comfort.

In AC even $100 is enough to get in a 2/4 and be a factor. Ive seen people buy in for as little as $20.

Anyone seriously worrying about roll requirements for 1/2, 2/4, or 3/6 Limits should be aware of the fact that none of these games are beatable when you factor in the rake, tips, etc.

Agreed. My first half-dozen or so casino sessions were 2/4 limit and I never needed more than my first $120.
