Rate my bluff

Villian pretty nitty running at 15/10/3 over a small sample. Have been trying to open up my game a bit and try a few more bluffs, this wouldnt be standard for me. Wouldnt have tried it if i didnt have the nut flush draw to fall back on.

Spew or cool?

i wouldn't try to bluff 3betting 15/10 guys. the tighter they are before the flop, the worse they are at laying down hands after the flop. when you wait 10 minutes to see a flop, you don't really want to give up.

When a board gets paired up, should we slow down? One of those questions I've had lingering and this hand shows why.

I like it. I don't think I'd bet quite so big though - $50 should do the trick and is maybe more believable.

However I think you should fold pre-flop versus this player - you're behind his range, and floating on this flop isn't standard either.

Edit: on second thoughts, the fact the board paired should make you less inclined to bet here, because you're no longer drawing to the nuts and could even be drawing dead.

Re: Rate my bluff

Given his probable range and how likely he is to fold according to the hands in that range I think this is probably -EV.

If you are going to bluff, bet $30 then shove the river.

Re: Rate my bluff

I don't like preflop but I would bet this turn since we got here. There's no benefit to betting $74 over $30 though so I go with the smaller size and call a shove or shove the river if he calls.

He makes the nuts with 88 or KK and you bluff your A high flushdraw? Looks awesome.

Re: Rate my bluff

I think its meh. he probably folds QQ-TT with no clubs, but these nitty 15/10 guys tend not to give up easily.

fold preflop.

Re: Rate my bluff

You could have ALOT of outs here. All aces, jacks, eights and clubs could be outs and you MAY also have some bluff outs and implied working for you. It's probably better to check it back and then go from there - and usually don't get out of line.

Of course, all this depends on what kind of image you are trying to establish and other considerations. There is no terrible play here.

You and similiar 2+2-posters are a disgrace to this forum.
This is a discussion board, not Delphi where you are asking an oracle to give absolute truths.

"No I don't like it" would have been an okay answer in the 18th century if you were king of some country but that does not seem to be the case.

This is to all who posts one liners without substance.

Edit to add: I dont like it, but you get no more than that because of your 213 posts, 210 are probably replies to your own threads.

Casper, I am reading your sentence over and over again but I can't figure out what you are trying to say. Sorry, English is not my mother tongue.

Yes, I know. Someone will quote me now because of what I just wrote and comment it in a rude way. But that's just the way 2+2 goes, and everybody knows...
