great poll. I hope to get a good idea of this question I wanted to ask myself for a while.
"How many tables at once do you most commonly play?"

I play 4, and am curious if this is standard or not compared to ssnl regulars.

I'm kind of surprised by the % of people who's profits make up the majority of their income. Though, I've done pretty well at poker, I gotz a job. I don't have the stones to quit...

-I guess it makes sense when you figure in all of the college students and young people living at home.

i quit driving buses for my college about 11 months ago to go pro...i only play like 15k hands a month but it pays my rent, etc. so while im not a super crazy professional grinder that sits here 5 hours a day playing, poker does make up ALL of my income.

I would think 3 months is a lot of hands for most people. The majority of the forum is probably playing 30k+ hands a month.

I had no idea people play so few tables, I almost never play fewer than 5 and most of the time play 9. I'd end up playing like 36/30 if I only played 3 tables

I suppose, I honestly feel like I'm still improving though even playing 6+ tables, my MT ratio prob works out to about 6.5 fwiw, and I never feel rushed and I always have time to think through decisions.

I'll only decrease table numbers if I'm playing ore tables of 2/4+ than usual, in that case I simply won't win unless I pay closer attention and focus a lot. At 1/2 though I feel I play my A+ game with 6-8 tables and my A- game with 9.
