Unreasonable favors.

Is this unreasonable or not ?

Friend A needs to get electronics from a store. Friend B is leaving for work, so friend A is asking B to take him to the store on his way. This probably takes 20minutes of B's time. But B says he is not getting his car back in time and would be late for work.

So B says to A that OP will take you there. Just says it like that. And adds that I don't have anything better to do because I am a poker player. Friend B has said this same line before, and I have said to him about that, but he is not the listening type.

I live pretty far away from A, the whole trip would take me about 1h 30minutes in the traffic. If A had a car, it would take him about 30minutes to do the job.

I have done several other favors for A after B had said I would do it, those favors were smaller. Both are good long time friends.

I said I wouldn't do it, part because I was pissed at B and part because It was unreasonable. B said I was a dick, A didn't comment at all.

You be the judge

It would be difficult for A to take the bus because the electronic device is big

This sounds real familiar.

Ride to the Airport?

Ride to the Gym?

now we have the trifecta, Ride to the Electronics Store?

TV? or what? you're being vague, but I'm thinking that any-item-too-big-for-the-bus is eligible for home delivery, no? have him have it delivered.

I woulda just taken him to the electronics store and left him. I mean christ, who asks favors out of people? You obviously are a very important person with an extremely busy life. He should have the learn the hard way. Shoulda told him cell phones were invented for a reason.

There's no way I'm driving 1.5 hours to take a friend to an electronics store. Tell him to order it online.

hour and a half? i wouldn't do that on short notice. I'd do it for a good friend if he asked at least a day in advance..."hey, you free tomorrow (whatever day)? you mind helping me out...." Then I'd be glad to help.

Friend B sucks ass.

One of my pet peeves is when A asks B for something, and B says "ehh..ask Taso" Example: Poker game, A busts out and starts asking the entire table one by one if they can spot him. This is a pet peeve of mine too. Unless someone offers, don't start asking. Anywho, he gets to B and B says "ask Taso". Obviously if I had $$ that I didn't want to see again, I'd have offered it right away. Put me in an awkward spot.

So yeah, B is a douchebag.
