100k hand graph - Brag or Variance?
 

Hi all!

First time poster, so be nice [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I've been playing poker for about a year and am trying to improve my game, so I thought I'd pick up some tips here.

Here is my first year:
These stats are not in $ but in Swedish currency, so divide by 5 (or by 6.5 if you want to be exact) to get it in $

I was just wondering if I'm running hot or if it's time to move up? I've been trying the equivalent of NL$100 lately as you can see, and not doing very well. The stakes still seem a bit large to me there.

(Obviously I'm not planning on keeping a 40/12 stat at higher levels, but down at micro it works for me)

And don't worry, not planning on doing this for a living just yet :-)

Also, should this have been posted in Micro stakes?

do we divide the BB/100 by 6.5 too?
cause 21.07 bb/100 over 63k hands is [censored] sick.

Normally I'd point out your vpip being a little heavy and your pfr a little light, which appears to be catching up with you, but eh. Whatever works, if you're able to adjust as you go you'll be fine.

Yeah I know, it isn't much, but mainly playing for fun. Trying to learn more so I can move up a bit. Hopefully it will be enough to roll me for SSNL soon. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

what is your aggression factor?

your stats are horrible. you'll be killed anywhere above $50 NL. you limp too much, you defend your blinds too much, you don't steal enough. you don't win enough pots that you enter.

i'm dumbfounded by these results. they're either doctored or you're running insanely hot.

Second, I can assure you these stats are not doctored, as others have said, they're not very impressive. I can always send you the HH's if you'd like? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I am not retarded enough to think that the same kind of game that is working at micro is going to work at small stakes, where I hope to play more according to ABC-poker. I will obviously have to make some improvements.

Not sure if you're joking or not, but why divide the BB/100 with 6.5? The rate is still the same even if you're currency is $, £ or Laotian Kip. If I were to graph $/100, then it would be a different matter [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Still isn't that good, but anywhere between 10 and 20 is adequate right?

anything above zero is adequate. the BEST players at ssnl beat the game for 8-10 PTBB/100 (i think?).

According to PT it's 9.55 BB / h.

Obviously I'm lucky sometimes, but at micro I feel I have a small advantage against the other players.

That was kinda what I was wondering when I posted this, can I move up or should I develop my game more at the lower limits? I can always achieve something like 25/14 at micro limits as well but I doubt it's the best way to play at that level.

Graphs are sick. how do you do comparatively at 6 max? Definitely time to move up a level or 3.

This is not true. Your 100PL is 6.4 bb/100. The PT graph is in dollars, so however it is it isn't right so divide by 6.5.

I'm running at 110 bb/100 in Mexican Pesos.

EDIT - at 500NL your winrate is 0.3 bb/100, almost 1 1/2 buyins over 20K+ hands.

The last time I saw someone with Won $ WSF % that low, the poster's name was Fgators. You'll have to upper that if you wanna win higher up, but as we can see, you're clearly not retarded and should be able to kick higher levels.

Just don't care for the money and it will save you a lot of work getting there, you gonna get rich playing poker.
