AP the best place to play right now?
 

Everyone with a clue stopped playing on AP... leaving only the clueless players at the table. Chances of being up against another cheating account are slim to none. Anyone else think it's worth signing up with AP right now?

everyone went through this revelation weeks ago.

sinc then the games have toughened up, gotten softer, toughened up, gotten softer and as of 11:20am EST, toughened up.

yeah i realized this about a week ago and tried to get some money on there. however, after dealing with UB/AP's inept support and thinking about it, i realized that i didn't really want to risk leaving a large sum on there and also didn't want to support AP.

It has never been surprising to me that poker sites can get away with murder while making their billions.
And even least surprising is that 95% of the online poker players are consistent losers.

also there is only like .25/.50 NL going..and that size is soft on EVERY site

no, it really isnt. Because if it was the best place to play right now he would be hurting how good it is by bringing it to everyones attention. It was like those mansion 100k gtd tournaments last year that were getting like 32k worth of entries. People were smart and shut up about it.

ps. its not the best place to be playing anyway.

I would log on there to check out the games before the scandal. There would be maybe 1 5/10NL and a few 3/6NL games and nothing high than that. Pretty crap selection. I doubt it could be much better after the scandal. If you're playing 1/2 or below the games are so freaking soft anywhere.

I guess theres no need to try and take the morality arguement with you.

Why is it stupid to play at UB right now?
UB has nothing to do with the scandal.
I trust UltimateBet much more than AP.

Also the chance of cheating happening agian are slim to none because now the security level is even higher than before.

If Absolute own it they control it and their management sets the rules. Besides, UB's reputation wasn't that good anyway !

Think about it this way....

AP and UB are the same company, sorta like Pepsi owns PepsiCola and FritoLay.

AP tried its' best to sweep this under the rug. If it wasn't for some pressure from some players who sniffed this cheating scam out, AP would never have made their discovery public.

AP is a piece of sh*t and if enough people stop playing on it, the value of the company will plummet forcing the current owners to sell off their operations to a legitimate concern. Russ Hamilton sold his stake in UB for a huge amount, maybe he'll buy it back for pennies on the dollar.
