horrible, horrible, horrible fold.

Re: JJ blind battle meh flop he shoves

cool, i have a little better read now. he's cc'ed behind then called a squeeze twice now folding flop both times when squeezer shoves so i'm upgrading his donkyness.

does this information change anything like, you would be more inclined to shove the flop?

Re: JJ blind battle meh flop he shoves

because he pots it when i check, because he just called the psthreebet or because i most likely have a decent amount of equity?

Why Xorbie? You prob have like 33% equity vs his range...(I peeled this number off the top of my head)

a min rr/call could mean he could have any 2 cards here.
i really dont like the c/f on flop.

Re: JJ blind battle meh flop he shoves

sticky players... likes to peel... he has KK/AK/99-JJ here himself a healthy amount, theres basically no way that shoving or crai is worse than a fold. this guy is def going to be bluffing at least 10% of the time when you check.

uhm, do i miss sth?

we are up against an unknown w/ 2/3 stack and there is only potsize behind, so how can this be c/f?

With a tight range we have like 40% equity and with a lose range we have like 50% equity. Given this I guess check shoving is best?

Re: JJ blind battle meh flop he shoves

Re: JJ blind battle meh flop he shoves

hmm, why is a c/r favored to bet/calling? I mean presumably we fold out a few hands better than ours by betting right?

I guess it would depend on how aggrssive the villain is and how loosely we assume he is calling the 4bet, so like if 88 is in his rang then c/r is better.

anybody care to explain?

Re: JJ blind battle meh flop he shoves

yeah i like CR bc you get more value from air, based on his pf min raise / call combo i would guess that makes up a big part of his range here

Re: JJ blind battle meh flop he shoves

Yeah at first i was thinking c/fold was the play to make, but this is a good analysis and you've convinced me crai is the best play too
