was supposed to be on my way to melbourne to play in pokernews main event right now, instead i'm back at home after spending all day at the airport, because i wasnt allowed on the plane. (That was a long run-on) I got the ticket which had my name on it from an airport. I got it from someone elses air miles since he was never going to use them. The airline ok'd this when i got the tickets! I checked in...no problems. Sat next to gate 3 hours early no problems. 20 minutes before flight......sir you arent allowed on this plane. wait, what? You got these tickets from someones air miles. Ya but i bought them from your airline and your people said it was ok. Sir step out of line. 3000 main event entry =bustoed, 7 nights at crown =bustoed

oh ya and my car broke down on the way there, and my friend who drove me back home (my broken car wouldnt run) hit a deer standing in middle of road.

someone who makes $8 an hour , works a summer job only and has to pay for his car to get fixed. And theres no way even if i had 20000 cash on me was i going to pay for that after i already bought a fair and legal ticket

ironically they told me i was frauding them (or the guy i got them from was frauding them is actually what they said) even though they said it was ok 2 months ago when i got the ticket witht he guy at the counter with me running over the plan with them.

Pretty embarassing in front of all those people about to board on plane too.

but i spent money on passport $200, fired/quit work for the year since i would be gone for a week and they needed me there, travel luggage bag, laptop bag, billy "the croc" agryos crocodile hat (jk),gas for the 1.5 hour drive each way, case of beer for my friend picking me up since my car is dead

i hit a deer once, it jumped out in front of me. hit it right on the license plate. it was like hitting a baseball on the sweetspot of the bat. it went flying sooooo far, and there was no damage to my car.

Whats your EV in that tournament? What was the prize pool and how many attendants? You prolly lost a lot more than $1600 and $200 ticket + other costs. Poker is rigged nowadays so you had a decent chance to win that stuff and become a pro.
