I played in an 8 player life S&G with a couple of friends yesterday, Blinds are 50/100 I'm in middle position and one player called before me.

I have Kc8c a thought this might be a good opportunity to steal 'cause the caller seemed week to me.

I raise, and everybody folds but the BB.

Flop: 2 3 6 rainbow

He checks I bet 400 he calls.

At this point I said to myself that I'm going to bluff this through no matter what!

Turn: 5

He checks I bet 400 he calls.

River: 8

I make top-pair, but the funny thing is that I don't even realize it 'cause I was so focused on bluffing!

He checks I bet 900 (being a total bluff on my mind), and he immediately calls and say's: I know you are bluffing, show your hand!

I turn my hand and I don't even realize the 8 on the board till he starts moaning about it!

I felt really sorry for him, 'cause he had me big time!

The whole table was pretty paralyzed because they saw on my reaction that I really thought I was bluffing.

WTF is a life sitngo? Those sound like some really high stakes! What happens to the losers and what do the winners get?
