Winstar serves beer now!

I guess this is the right forum for this. I didn't see any mention of this anywhere. Maybe it's not that important. Anyway, my buddy and I stopped at winstar on the way back to Dallas so he could play a slot machine for awhile yesterday. I was broke so couldn't do anything but watch him. So this guy comes around wheeling what looks like a giant wheel barrow (lol Oklahoma) full of beer. $3.50 domestic, $4.25 import. I also saw a couple of waitresses looking like they were taking orders. I didn't see hardly anyone drinking though.

Las Vegas=free drinks Shreveport=free drinks Oklahoma=$3.50 LMAO

They started last Monday. Don't know if he was telling the truth, but a dealer said it was 3.2 beer.

The fact that I can now drink at my home casino, even for ridiculous prices, makes me happier than you'll ever know.

note that bud/bud light comes in those 16oz aluminum bottles for the same $3.50 as the 12oz miller/coors products. And yes, I do believe its 3.2 beer, stupid OK. The couple of times ive been there in past week there were two or three cocktail waitresses walking around taking orders and a guy had a giant bucket of beers at the front of the poker room. Both took chips and cash. Also, I didnt notice too many people drinking either, which i thought was odd.

If you've already lost $100 playing 2/4, do you want to drop another $20 or so on beer?

WTF. Thats weak. I was there a while back and a dealer said booze was coming, but over paying for crappy beer at a casino is bogus.
He was saying they were going to put a bar in where the high denom slots are now, don't know if thats the case though.

Anyone notice if the games are any jucier because alchohol is sold now? Choctaw in Durant is a little closer to me than Winstar but I might be willing to drive a little further if the games are better...

Last time I was there no one at my table was even drinking. I'm not interested in overpaying for crappy beer in a casino.

A couple of observations. The games are much much juicier than any casino in all of Oklahoma. The 1/2 and 2/5 are always soft and if the right lineup is at the 5/10 game it can be very juicy as well. The beer is 3.2 and they do charge the prices stated. They will begin selling liquor and reular beer once they pass the bill waiting to go through the first of the year. I have been told from several sources that it will pass no problem. On another note for you tourney players they are arranging a tourney series in March there with a $2,200 buy in final event. Omaha tourrney to be included in series....

In fact, he told me a whopper about an idiot end of a straight winning on a double paired paint board...
