Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
AK?
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
if i had to guess by the way you phrased it, you have 87 and now you're sad that he made aces up?
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
Donkey guess:
hero: Big ace, A2, or some other non-aces up two pair. villain: Not a lot you beat. Maybe a worse two pair, depending on what you have. |
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
i think now you should look at your cards.
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
u have A7
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
AA?
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
You call with AQ and lose
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
id say u have 77 for a low set....why are we not betting more on the flop regardless?
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
my thought was that this is a marginal (aka gross) spot with 78 on the flop. bottom set is a definate call.

Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
I'm calling with two pair or better here. the only thing I don't understand is the half pot sized bet on the flop, maybe you have AAA? I
you bet 1/2 pot, then 3/4 pot, then 90% pot on the river. ummm.... i dunno |
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
AK/87
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
I say 8-7 or 7-10 .
I noticed you bet a bit more on the turn which leads me to believe that you like the 10 or you're protecting your 8-7 . Either way , I think there is a decent chance you have one of these hands . |
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
results etc?
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
make it AGRESSIVE PUKE
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
He's not posting the results until someone gets it right:
He was bluffing with KQ and thinks his opponent is bluffing back with Q9. |
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
a9
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
you might want to look at your cards before puking. you have T7, T8, A2, Ak-aj. in that order.
|
Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
i had top two. his line was strange. the way he was playing, the river isn't a bluff and he's probably going to get more money in earlier with good but vulnerable hands. was thinking he might play a2 like this. fwiw i think AT pretty much equals A9 in this situation v this type of opponent.
anyway, he had j9. |

Re: ugh -- call this river checkraise? nlcash
btw why you bet so much on river?

btw why you bet so much on river? [/ QUOTE ] I'd assume at the time he figured value...from a weak two-pair, like A-[other lower pair]. Sometimes I can see Villains calling light here too just because the bet SEEMS bluff-ish. |
