Wow, that deftones song is reeeally good. I've heard people talk about them for years but only heard one other song and it sucked ass.

What exact sound are you looking for? It's a different strokes situation, cuz even though I really like that deftones song I wouldn't classify it as relaxing.

I can't think of a less girly way to say it, but I like beautiful melodies. A lot of my friends find music that I feel is relaxing to be depressing so maybe that's a good description?

Well aphex twin (Richard James) writes some amazing melodies but that ambeient works album I recommended isn't melody oriented. This one is from a different album;

I just clicked on the first day but some of that playlist sux. Some of it was super great though so I approve. Mellow and relaxing doesn't mean 'OMG PLZ BLAND ME TO DEATH' and I think some people get that twisted.
