400nl calldown vs. nanonoko

i have him 21/17 but he has a reputation as pretty aggro/spewy. he knows i'm a regular; we've played a lot and i run 23/19 or so.

turn ok? i froze a little, wasn't sure whether or not i could raise for value.

river uggghh. easy call? bet size is kind of scary and i'm afraid of bigger 2pairs as well as the straight. but some draws missed too.

Re: 400nl calldown vs. nanonoko

turn i raise for value, def...and for the times he has a hand like KQ, QJ. Flush draw...etc lool, meant for the times he has flush draw/ pair + str8 draw...obv it's for value if we know his hand...but i like a turn raise on this board most of the time...esp blind v blind

I think if you raise this turn he could read it as a bluff/raise with a fd/pair str8 draw (not sure of your history) and could extract some...or he could flopped a big hand, like AcQc AcJc, and get some more value. get him to shove, etc etc.

Not sure I like a riv call...seems a lot like KQ, guess it could be a blocking bet with...AK, but meh that seems stupidly spewy. although u did say he is a bit over aggro/spew

I def raise turn in BvB.
As you say yourself his riverbet is just so scary, but youre getting awesome odds. So i don't know, prolly call due to potodds.

I raise turn, and think I fold river as played. Don't know villain though.

3betting preflop, raising the turn and folding the river are all viable variations to how to play this hand imo. As played its not too bad

Re: 400nl calldown vs. nanonoko

I wouldn't say ez call... his bet size would prob mean he has KJ or KT. I'd raise this turn blind on blind all day and stick it in here... he's certainly putting it in with Kx IMO or like Jxcc. The board's too drawy and it's blind on blind, so I think flatcalling turn is weak, and I'd say he's valuetowning u on riv...

He use to be a lot more spewy / tilty than he has been recently. I wouldnt

i don't necessarily think the river is a call, but I sure as hell think the turn is a raise.

Re: 400nl calldown vs. nanonoko

I think we can raise the turn (for protection and showdown) because the way the board is developing I don't see how we can get much more value out of KQ anyway.

Re: 400nl calldown vs. nanonoko

Fold the turn, you have the worst 2 pair for a real hand, Horrible Redraw outs...and nothing going for you

Re: 400nl calldown vs. nanonoko

Turn is def. a raise, and river is such an easy call.
