Bubble - no brainer push??

Or is there another way to play this? Only thing I ever considered here was pushing. Standard?

well depending on how he has been playing, i mean. if he had been pretty LAGgy then i may shove, but if he's been playing tight/nitty id rather 3bet to 26k. is that a spew?

Push seems fine to me, since you're not folding to a 4-bet anyways.

What types of playable hands are we folding in this spot?

Is this the final table? If villain has been playing very tight lately, I would let this go; otherwise a shove is fine.

Re: Bubble - no brainer push??

This is 2 tables of 5 handed play (1 more player gets knocked out before final table). Anyways most seem to agree that the push was the right play here. Anyone wanna help with which hands we fold here? AJo? KQo, KQs? 77? Are you pushing AQ here?

Re: Bubble - no brainer push??

Villain wasn't a nit or out of line aggressive, he seemed to be playing about the right amount of hands.

Re: Bubble - no brainer push??

Pushing with TT aint a no-brainer. Sometimes I just call pre-flop and hope to get a low flop and then push to a CB - one win more chips that way, I want to get payed more than just the 8K in the proflop raise for this premium hand.

77 is much better hand to re-raise all-in with - it can come way to many overcards if one just call.

Re: Bubble - no brainer push??

If this is in fact the BUBBLE (9 get paid), why on earth aren't we folding to all but the very loosest player here? Otoh, if the bubble is still a few people away, a shove looks pretty standard at a 5 handed table. I hate the call and see the flop line b/c we're still going broke to an overpair, rarely snapping off 77-99, and letting AK/AQ get away with 1/2 their stack when they miss.

Final table bubble. Not the overall tournament bubble.
