Could be the start of something big, especially if other poker rooms follow suit.

Re: Big story or non-story?

LOL at those morons. They were on Tribeca, which moves to iPoker, a network that doesn't allow Americans. So Doyle's doesn't move with the network, but kicks off the Americans anyway, and makes a mess of it when they do so. The site has pathetic traffic for months while they try to decide what to do. Then they finally end up moving to Microgaming, which allows Americans...so they didn't have to kick them off in the first place. Now, months later, they're finally allowing Americans again. NH Doyle's!

link to the press release? First I've heard of this. Would be wonderful, if true. Doyle's was always my favorite. Made a killing on there.

Re: Big story or non-story?

Considering the legal climate I do not think it can be anything but a "big story" anytime either a site comes back to the US or a new site opens..Doesn't mean I'll play at it but it good to have more option...

Now that's Doyle's back lets all start dreaming of Party and Ongame and the endless pursuit of free bonus $$$$$$ returning...

Non-story. Doyle's Room isn't a safe place to keep your money. Bunch of idiots running the customer support / horrible software / joke of a poker site / bad for the poker world / etc.

Actually it is a big story.

Why?

They accept epassporte, the only Prima site that I know of to do this.

Yeah, but those Tribeca players you loved were almost all moved to iPoker. Now they're just another Microgaming skin...so if you like Microgaming, it would be good news.

Not to mention the way they treated ALL affiliates....

Yeah, I forgot all about that...didn't they basically fire all the players over to FT without RB and no affiliate tagging?

Are they going to allow people from all 50 states to play?

I sent them an email to reset my password and their customer support person said I had to restart my computer for a couple minutes before I tried logging in.

WTF?

Great site and I missed it. I will go back. And as far as the traffic it has about 22000 when I was on there today so that is about the same size as AP, B-Dog or UB

Lorenza 10-18-2007 11:05 PM

Re: Big story or non-story?

Why would anyone go back there?
Eurolinx is much better, better CS, faster cashouts and they didn't drop me, and they are not too worried when I sometimes log on from one of the 11 states.

Doyle busted me and now he can stay where he is, nobody needs him anymore.

Re: Big story or non-story?

If you want to play on Prima, play at Royal card poker - 50% rb, instead of Doyle's 27%.

I always loved the old Doyle - software, players, live Cs - but it's all gone now.The players are at Ipoker now, software is prima's...don't know about the live chat though.

[/ QUOTE ] To be fair they gave a warning of several weeks and tried to get their players settled at FT. Or maybe it just seemed nice since the Neteller fiasco happened a month before.

Redownloaded the software today and reset my password via CS email in under 15 minutes, there is no Epass logo anywhere, and I don't know if there will be seeing as the room has numerous casino games as well.

Re: Big story or non-story? (DoylesRoom / US market)

Epassporte is on the bottom of the homepage with the list of other providers. That doesn't necessarily mean it's available on the cashier page but it is on the homepage.

If this is true, and ePassporte is currently an option, they won't be for long.

Not according to thier ad on bw's:

Doyles Room does not accept players from the states of IL, IN, LA, MI, NV, NJ, NY, OR, SD, UT, WA and WI.

This sucks for me!!!

Re: Big story or non-story?

I sent this email to their CS rep:

Hello,

Before you closed doors to US players I was owed the leather bound supersystem books as part of a sign up bonus. I never received them, and once you closed to the US you said you would not send them. If you would please send them now, I would be happy to come back to Doyle's Room. If not, I will continue playing elsewhere. Thank you.

I got this one back a few hours later:

Hi Matt:

Your books will be sent out before end of business today

Welcome home!

I thought it was interesting that they gave me the run around for a couple of weeks before saying they would not send the books, but now I can get them sent out the same day.

Do we still get rakeback if we did before they kicked out the Americans. Good to know I can finally get my leatherbound SS 1&2.

I was working on the Leather Bounds and making good progress before they kicked out the Americans.

I would love to go back and resume that, however I live in Vegas and prima says no to me.

My affiliate says they already have prima skin so no rb at DR again for me. I won't feel bad about promising to play there in order to get my books since they were owed to me in the first place.
