Beat: anti teeth-grinding apparatus

I grind my teeth hudge while sleeping. My enamel is shot as a result. Dentist says I should sleep with one of these for the rest of my life, or I'll have a hard time fighting cavities.

V: I'm only 25

Anyone suck as much as I do?

I was gonna say stop doing so much speed, but then I realized you did this while sleeping.

Wow, however came up with packaging should be shot. Could they be any more condensing?

I think I'd buy my mouthpiece from a sports store just to avoid those ghey "nightguard" boxes.

yes I got one of these 2 years ago. I used it for a couple of months then lost it, I haven't gotten a new one. They are uncomfortable though and may make you druel all over yourself. Also, I woke up with horrible breath each morning. Have fun

I'm 19 now fwiw.

This is a good idea but I think it would cause my teeth to buck.

serious advice time: have the dentist make a custom mouthguard for you - it'll fit much better than an off-the-shelf one and it'll last nearly forever.

Also, clean it with denture cleaner. Often.

yea I did this and still had some problems with it fitting right so a standard one would probably be a nightmare

Yeah, I should have mentioned it's going to be custom made. Should be around $400. Standard?

My mom, my bro, and possibly me now.
Im not sure if I am also afflicted. I have had an ache in my right jaw for 3 days. My mom has had sleep grinding problems and my brother just started getting them. What are the sypmptoms.

Yep, been there. My grinding was so bad it caused TMJ

I have one of these but cant keep it in my mouth for more than 20 seconds. Same with the sports guards. How hard is it to make one much thinner? Eventually Ill get the dentist one, probably after I grind my bottom teeth out.

I had one of the ones he posted. You custom mold them to fit your teeth. The one I had fit fine with a little modification.

Sounds about right. I find mine to be pretty comfortable, which says a lot since I usually gag on stuff like that (could never stand wearing my retainer as a teenager, etc.)
