I have an aggressive image and have 3bet him a few times in recent orbits, winning the pot every time, so I get the sense he's about ready to play back. I felt really weird getting the money in like this though. Spew or ok?

Whats up with the flopcheckraise? Also, fwiw, if I think he's making a play by floating the flop, then I'd much rather crai on turn than bet/push.

I don't know this guy but I really prefer checking the turn, unless KoD is right and he often felts 33 here.

seems like you beat nothing, that he would call your flop raise with, and if he had a flush draw, it prolly woulda gone in on the flop

i think this is bad.

i understand the expecting him to make a move and maximizing value by not avoiding it but going after it head on, but given the line he played in this hand, he has you beat way more often than hes bluffing

i think a lot of times when people think they are setting their opponent up to get paid and they finally get played back at but are fairly marginal its not worth going after cause i think youre up against a monster a lot. i think he just somehow "has" it a lot here.

I think its fine against him. Looks like he is waiting for a blank to commit with his smaller pair, and the 9 is a great card in his eyes.

good point, but after playing with him I just don't think he would fire 3 barrels unless he's on monkey tilt because its such a dry board. Most of the time I like your line.

He had 57 and I won the pot. I think I like my bet given the turn card, on most turns I'd much rather check.

If you have an aggressive image, you can definitely be seeing a worse hand here enough from MSU to be profitable, but vs a nit like me, he always has it.

Also, not that it makes much difference, but you should have left out his call....

i feel like this hand and that hand with an overpair, TT i think being 3bet on a 99x rainbow board strike me as very very similar

I didn't understand all these fancy merge ranges or check-raise for value or whatever when I played on Party. If I thought the guy had nothing or might call with a smaller pair, I just try to get the money in.
