what are you doing on the turn

Re: standard 5/10 hand

Wasnt shoving the river your plan.

If so do it, and if not, what was your reasoning on turn.

Re: standard 5/10 hand

hit spade see what he does or maybe bluff the river when he bets small i think i have to shove but wanted to know what you make of his river bet and if it's +ev to bluff here.

Re: standard 5/10 hand

he bets so small i could fold but i dont like a turn raise cause he'll stack off with a pair plus flush draw so i call maybe my flush is good if i hit or can bluff the river depending on his bet. what do you make his river bet?

Re: standard 5/10 hand

i think preflop is bad, flop is fine, turn is kind of gross, river you should just fold since i don't know what you expect him to put you on and fold, and he'll easily convince himself he drew the bluff. so raising only works if he's bluffing.

Re: standard 5/10 hand

just fold turn, your spade should not be considered an out

Re: standard 5/10 hand

his turn bet is so gross though it looks like he wants to see a cheap river with a weak hand, then he follows up with that river?

Re: standard 5/10 hand

you are much better waiting for a better spot. donks play flushes like this and you have no outs

Re: standard 5/10 hand

raise the turn if youre going to play it. also, 98o isnt v good against loose donks. just limp or fold.

Re: standard 5/10 hand

if you think he's got a weak hand on the turn, why don't you just raise there - it's not unbelievable that you semibluffed the flop or are value raising a K

Re: standard 5/10 hand

duuuude they never fold to the turn raise.

reup 10-15-2007 04:09 PM

Re: standard 5/10 hand

but would you rather fold the river or shove the river cause imo opinion they dont fold the turn like at all. i raise pf bet flop on scary board then he donks small?!?! it looks like he wants a cheap river then he bets sooo small on river looks very weak imo.

fold turn

Re: standard 5/10 hand

I don't like preflop. I think overlimping is better, especially if he doesn't like folding. You CAN shove the river but your line isn't very believable, and people usually call when they are confused, which he probably will be if you shove. ON the other hand, donks don't really think logically so that might not matter at all.

Re: standard 5/10 hand

You know you are allowed to fold the turn with 9 high, even if it feels unmanly against his insultingly tiny bet?

Re: standard 5/10 hand

fold PF. Def fold turn. I'm not to sure what to make of these weakass villain bets (that turn is so awkward on both of your parts), but as played fold river.
