Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
is this a serious hand? If so I shuld be moving to bodog! honestly speaking if this were me and I had seen something like this before I would without a doubt have pushed pre...
as played check...evaluate and give up to multiway heavy action I guess...maybe get it in if you can get heads up |

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
yes, this is a serious hand.

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
now pot the flop and don't fold...

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
If I had known how lag the table was I woud have pushed pre flop. Now I would check to the multi way action, it's just the first hand. How did the hand finish out?

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
You have a little over a PSB left. The pot is big. The straight and flush draw are more likely than a made straight or flush on the flop. If someone flopped a set or 2 pair then lucky for him. You more likely still have the best hand. So open shove on the flop.

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
we have 1280 left...if we push and get called we are now gambling especially when 4 people call...how strong do we look now? If anything I would check call a shove if I intend to get it in anyway...not really sure though...spot is so odd it's not on my standard radar

spot is so odd it's not on my standard radar [/ QUOTE ] That's why this was such an interesting hand. I was like WTF? People don't fold to a 22BB re-raise on the first hand of a tourney (Level 1 thinking?) I open shove and pray. |

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
I agree this is pretty interesting for a $30 (the PF calls,) but as far as the hand goes I don't think there's anything to do but just jam the flop. If we check there's like a 90% chance someone else is going to jam the flop, and we're calling (I hope no one could possibly suggest a c/f here) and we'd rather have a shot to fold out 9c9x or whatever than call a push from them.

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
I'm normally a cash game player. This was the first time I played a MTT higher than $10 (online). I was as surprised as you were.
So what I'm saying is...I guess this is normal. |
Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
I agree with the people who say open shove.
It’s tough to see three people call that kind of reraise, but the second player was getting nearly 2-to-1, and the third player nearly 3-to-1. Anyway, there’s plenty out there that we’re still beating, so just shove. |
Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
I'm sure it finished with 33 hitting their set or AQ one club hitting their flush. Either way, I guess I would have raised to more like 400 and took it from there.

Re: Bodog $30 AA first hand
IF 45 called the BB raise they are more than terrible.
