I played in this for two days this past weekend, and they are the friendliest and most entertaining players I've ever seen, so different from the usual lineup of attention seekers, boring internet pros, and angry old dudes.

I've never sat in a game where a widows openly talked about her past and laugh louder than anyone I've ever heard, an Arab wished me good luck in Hebrew, and the most aggressive female player I've ever seen wished us "positive energy".

I played there a lot over the summer. I'm curious to hear his story as well. Most of the locals played either ultra loose aggressive or ultra tight and few in between. Most were very loose.

i heard something about invisible dye and special contacts. don't think the person i heard that from was actually in the game when gray was arrested, so no idea how accurate the info is.

MOST OF THEM ARE TOO SOLID AND YOU CAN WIN MONEY BY PUTTING A FEW BLUFFS ON THEM.

actually, they were talking about that.

one player said they hadn't seen some guy in a while. the others said that he got 86'd after they found him marking cards with invisible ink, the dealer caught him and booted him in the middle of a tournament.

most arabs in israel speak hebrew the same way spanish people speak english - i.e. they learn it cause they have to to work.
