Opp's stats were 29/0 at this point, but over an insignificant sample size. What's your move here?

Rex you cannot fold here.

YOu definitely have odds for set value, just call and play the hand very carefully.

Out of position looks like a fold here, if he had been one of the blinds then a call is ok?

WTF?

It will cost you 200, you need to win 1500 and there are 800 in the pot already!!

Rex I think you are way too nitty man.

Re: ($27) JJ to min re-raise

You need to win 1600 (=800 more) every time you flop a set and lose no more chips if you don't.

I don't think this the case.

This is the perfect case!

if villain's range is QQ+,AK you will be paid off 100% if you hit!

Yeah, I'm def. calling for set value here. I would even doubt AK is in his range (as he seems to be tight) so I would expect nice action if we hit our set.

Is somebody else raising less pre like Rex?? 3x is my standard raise and I see absolutely no reason to raise less here!

thanks!

Re: ($27) JJ to min re-raise

Raising to 250 is probably better to control the pot generally speaking.

You want to raise the min to make people folding and to take cheaper and easier decisions in case of counter attacks.

Re: ($27) JJ to min re-raise

My standard is 250.. It keeps c-bets smaller. On a looser than normal table I could make it 300 to discourage action..

Re: ($27) JJ to min re-raise

as your stack becomes more awkward you should be more prone to altering bet sizes. 300 is fine here IMO. in a perfect world now is where i sharkscope villain and then shove or fold but id probably end up calling a lot bc im stationy like that.
