push

Re: Getting Maximum Value from Set Out of Position
Why is this better than waiting for the turn?

Re: Getting Maximum Value from Set Out of Position
1) Cold calling looks stronger than a shove. Aces will check the turn behind if you attempt to CR turn.
2) Club may kill your action. 3) Leading turn is akward and very suspicious. 4) Draws will call push + Dont want to give them free cards. |
Re: Getting Maximum Value from Set Out of Position
Thanks for the clear answer. Makes sense.
I min-raised (which looked even more suspicious) and he folded. |

Re: Getting Maximum Value from Set Out of Position
I like leading as it might trap CO between you and the pfr.
As played i like a push. Looks like a draw, and i think you might get looked somewhat light up. |

Re: Getting Maximum Value from Set Out of Position
I always lead out here, provided that in a multiway pot, someone's gotta have an Ace or Jack...:D
