Because it's a real Cartier. But yea agreed, if Ima spend money on a Cartier of all watches I want it to look gorgeous, because its basically jewelry not a fantastic example of a solid timepiece.

People are dynamic. Time is standardized, unless you live in a different space-time continuum.

Edit: I see what you did....

But as "houses," if all you are looking for is shelter, then yes one is as good as another, but time still stands as above.

One of the reasons I decided to go with Cartier is because of the ladies. Girls absolutely love Cartier and will notice the unique trademarks (the roman numerals, the studs on the frame of the watch).

Plus, I like it. Haterz.

I do not get it--I looked at other pics of Cartier watches, and they all have the same erroneous Roman Numeral. Surely someone must have told them by now they're doing it wrong!
