This looks a lot more like a winrate than a downswing.

I have a hard time believing showing down a quarter of your hands is that profitable. otoh, you play pretty effing tight/nitty so I dunno maybe it balances out.

i'd suggest going to 100nl and work on stealing blinds/getting your vpip up to something in the 20s at least

I think that's not really good advice whatever the problem is at NL 200 I dont think the reason he's not crushing isnt him being too tight

Button VPIP definitely too low. Sample is quite small also sao I wouldnt read into these losses too much

yeah, i'm sure there are some other problems in there but his att. to steal is like 20% when it should be in the 30s. he's playing way too tight from the button/co and not getting paid enough on his big hands b/c its obvious when picks one up

You're playing waaaaay too nitty.

Also, if this is one of your biggest downswings consider yourself lucky.

If you can get out of your downswing in a couple of days, it's not a downswing. Post hands. Not coolers.

why are you losing so much from blinds? Your sb vpip is almost the same as button's. Did you try to protect your blind too hard(3betting to co or bn raise too often?)?

[/ QUOTE ] I think thats part of it that i think i was three betting to often from the blinds and calling a bit too much from the blinds.

You don't seem to respect position enough.

IMO, I think it's okay to protect your blinds here and there but only occasionally, only when you think bn or co is raising way too much. Or I really would just let most hands go. I've learned it the hard way by dropping 3, 4 buy-ins until I realized there's just no point of over protecting blinds. Fix that problem and you will probably see a good come back.
Thoughts guys?

Any other comments on my stats and what changes do you guys think you need to make from 100nl to 200nl. I think you can be a solid winner at 100nl playing tag, what about 200nl?

Two additional analyses that I've done when I have big downswings:

1. Top five starting hands and worst five starting hands by position
2. Manual analysis of big pots one and lost by cause. Causes for lost pots I have in the spreadsheet include Chasing (where I chased), TPTK, 2nd Nuts, Good to Bad, Dumb Shove, Cooler, Continuous Bet/Out.

Both of these have helped me distance myself from the emotion of the downswing. Good luck in figuring it out.
