What happend the the bboy scam thread in MTTC?
 

F. McSimmons or something like that accused bboy or scamming him out of $890 or so. Where is this thread? Was it deleted because bboy paid?

They monitor random threads on a daily basis to ensure that quality posting standards are maintained at the site.

Just that the mod involved didn't have time to study the conflicting information being given. He hasn't checked in, since.

from what the OP of the thread posted, it looked pretty obvious that bboy scammed him for $890ish then went on to win a $30,000 gtd and never paid him back. He had screenshots from his email and his FTP cashier.

Sure, they may have been photo shopped, but if the OP of the thread changed his PW to his email and had a mod login to his email and check to confirm the emails, I think that would help a lot.

This really needs to be put back into MTTC. I have NEVER talked to the OP of the thread before, but yesterday he randomly PM'd telling me what happend and I told him to make the thread in MTTC. This is a pretty big deal IMO

Hi guys. I have talked to Mike Haven about this through PMs and I think he can at least confirm that I'm most likely not making any of this up.

FTP does not seem like they want to help AT ALL, and I've been in contact with them all day.

If the "mod involved" could check back in and display the evidence I've shown, that would be great. I'm not giving up on this quite yet..

I really think changing your PW and having someone like Mike Haven (if he is willing) log into your email to confirm that the screenshots you posted are not photoshopped would be a really good idea.

2+2 is only involved in that the thread got removed that I created about this situation. I hope that the 2+2 community can help me regain my funds, and at the least I can make people aware that bboy_ is a scammer.

I'd like to point out that I didn't "randomly" PM him. I PMd him because he posted in the thread where bboy discussed his final table and such, so I figured that maybe he knew him or there was some connection. I didn't just pick a bunch of 2+2rs to gripe to about this.

I can confirm I've been in his e-mail account reading his e-mails.

There is certainly an e-mail from FTP confirming he sent someone $893 on October 3rd.

It doesn't say who it was sent to, but his screenshot of his Past Transactions, in his thread, shows the same Ref#, and the name of the recipient, cMeWinS.

bboy_ (or cMeWinS) has PMed me to say that the amount in question was transferred from a buddy of his for a debt he was owed, but he is not being forthcoming about a full and satisfactory explanation of the situation, (and nor does he have to be to me, of course), and he wonders what I hope to accomplish by doing this "policework".

I have since explained that I might be able to clear his name and reputation, as far as the Twoplustwo readership is concerned, but that he doesn't have to tell me jack [censored] if he doesn't want to.

You must click the top of the first email so it folds out and you can read it. Gmail is like that.
