I kinda just snapcalled this
Villain is a prodigious 60/20...I snapcalled. Thoughts?

Re: I kinda just snapcalled this
it's a pretty common thing to do ^^

Re: I kinda just snapcalled this
if he snap bets 60% pot call, this is a huge hand more often than not
|
Re: I kinda just snapcalled this
he has K3diamonds.

Re: I kinda just snapcalled this
bet turn and put no more money in

Re: I kinda just snapcalled this
In my experience this is a pretty strong hand. When the turn gets checked through like this and they overbet the river, its usually a whiffed turn c/r. I think I fold here...

Re: I kinda just snapcalled this
This looks OK, pretty neutral to me to be honest. Your hand is good a lot of the time, but you also lose out to the aforementioned legit-hand-overbet-from-a-donk a lot. Throw in Ad3d and the times he's "bluffing" with TT, and this might actually be bad. Meh, I have no idea.

[/ QUOTE ] Once OP checks behind turn TT usually become a lot more confident and simply hope to win in a showdown, and a 60/20 isn't good enough to turn TT into a bluff anyway (typically). I think it's marginal but I'd err on the side of calling, especially if he's to my direct right. Your image is also important - if you've been very aggro/active people have a tendency to make moves on you more, if you've been playing tight, less. Kirk |

I bet the turn and hope for a free showdown

I bet the turn and hope for a free showdown [/ QUOTE ] same, and fold river as played. |
Re: I kinda just snapcalled this
Fine. I concede my turn play may be suboptimal. The river action is my question!
