10/25 Live flopped straight

8 handed 10/25 game with stack sizes ranging from 3-20. I straddle to 50. 4200 behind me
folds to MP who covers me(tight-passive player who can overvalue non nut hands in big pots, knows i play very laggish) He raises to 250 and gets a call from a loose player who also covers me and just entered the game.
I call 200 in straddle with Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . flop comes K 9 J rainbow. POT (785)
I check
MP makes it 400. Button calls 400. Hero makes it 2000 total.
MP calls Button calls!!! POT(6785)
Turn J.
i have around 1900 left.
I...

open fold, wouldn't want to tempt yourself into putting 1/3 psb without the nuts anymore

All-in time. The chances you just got outdrawn and are up against a boat exist, but are low enough given the pot odds you are given (given the total pot when you push all-in vs. what you have left in your stack).

arg u have 1900 left. if u have like 5k left, this would be trickier spot.

I would just shove here, you can't really check/fold here getting 4-1 if for example MP bets, and Button Folds.

Since he overvalues hands he can have AK, AA, KQ, K9 maybe even?

I also think that a significant part of the Button's range is actually QT as well based on his line.

Well OP, you've got the best this forum has to offer now, so you should be able to make the correct decision easily. Sometimes tho, these hands are so close even experts disagree.

If you had more behind, this would be hard. But with only 1900 it is an easy shove.

You are getting a minimum of 4.5-1 with a single caller or 5.5-1 if they both call (though if they both call you are likely beat, obviously).

You only have to be good here 18% of the time.

id probably make a smaller bet on the flop. ur being results oriented. also, straddling if u have 150x or whatever is generally pretty -ev.

Re: 10/25 Live flopped straight

true..but why make a smaller bet on the flop, when the original raiser bet 400 into the 785 pot i put him on a strong hand. AA, AK, set, 2 pair. Hes gonna call 3k either way

Given your stack size and the size of the pot, I don't really see how can you do anything but shove and pray.

Why are people still posting serious responses?

I don't get it.

Given your stack size and the size of the pot, I think you should get a job.
