CBS Pedophilia
Probably belongs elsewhere, but pretty laughable/disgusting/sports related.
From www.wwtdd.com, the "With Leather" section: Daniel Barron, 56, a CBS Sports TV producer, was arrested for "solicitation to commit sexual battery on a child under the age of 12" after offering to exchange Dolphins tickets for sex with an 11-year-old girl. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Barron... chatted on the Internet with an undercover detective who was posing as a father willing to let Barron have sex with his 11-year-old daughter as well as sleep nude with her in exchange for tickets to the Miami Dolphins football game Sunday... Barron told the undercover officer that he was looking forward to meeting the daughter, allegedly telling the detective, "I will be very gentle with her." Awww, he sounds sweet. Barron was also using his work computer to download kiddie porn, which I guess given the circumstances of his arrest maybe shouldn't be all that surprising. I'm guessing this doesn't bode well for his career at CBS Sports. But the good news is he can put this on his resume if he ever applies for a job at ESPN. |

This should have been a dead giveaway. |
Re: CBS Pedophilia
Gotta figure this type of activity is reserved for like, the 1927 Yankees or 1996 Bulls.

Well, at least it was a little girl, that's something, I mean, he's no queer.

Re: CBS Pedophilia
Wow, I could see maybe Patriots tickets or something. But giving up the poon for Dolphins tickets? What a whore.

...and if it was an 11 year old boy and a 30 year old lady, everyone would be saying "OMG I DIDN'T HAVE A CBS SPORTS PRODUCER LIKE THAT WHEN I GREW UP"

Re: CBS Pedophilia
I can't watch that Dateline show, To Catch a Predator. I know they are getting what they deserve, yes, they are totally sick, yes, they are dangerous, some no doubt horribly so. Yet, these are humans that due to uncontrollable desire have just strayed so far from the path. Don't know when it became uncontrollable for them, but they just fell further and further. One guy, a doctor i think, on the phone to his wife "honey, I did something really stupid". OMG.
What I am saying is, guys, sex is natural, fun, usually harmless, but in this age of cyber porn and whatever is out there, I don't really know, but please keep an eye on it, don't let it come to this. |
Re: CBS Pedophilia
What I really wonder is how often this stuff actually happens for real? Are there really fathers who would pimp out their 11-year old daughter like that? I mean yeah obviously a one a million thing. But the way these shows insta-catch as many predators as they want, you just have to wonder, is this really happening all the time? Or are the shows just catching first time idiots who think this stuff actually happens? I honestly don't know. Does anyone have actual solid knowledge about this stuff? Obviously either way I'm glad these people are getting caught.

Re: CBS Pedophilia
Is Daniel Barron noteworthy? I mean aside from the pedophilia?

[/ QUOTE ] I think a lot of these guys who are caught have strong suspicions that they are being set up, but are thinking so much with their peckers they just can't say no. Some of them even say stuff like "I hope this isn't that predator show" in the chats, but they meet with the "girl" anyway. |
Re: CBS Pedophilia
I bet it happens a ton. Young girls are niave and wanting attention. Zillions of older losers who can't get any and are insecure around adult females.

Re: CBS Pedophilia
Charlie,
I dunno mang, if I'm a 13 year old girl (actually I am a 13 year old girl, trust me, so this is why I know this) the last thing I want is some hairy old random dude getting naughty with me. No doubt they crave the attention but that seems to be a bit much. So I wonder how much of it is actually happening, and how much of that is because these sting operations are bringing out some people's inner pedophile who would never act otherwise. Weird conversation for this forum to say the least. |

Re: CBS Pedophilia
Agree with Tug. I doubt many preteen girls want to suddenly run out and get opened up by some guy in their 40's. I actually believe that the guys on To Catch A Predator are telling the truth when they claim this is the "first time I've done something like this", simply because I would imagine they've struck out every other time.

[/ QUOTE ] The part about the girls may be true, but I don't think the 'older losers' part is. I am pretty sure that most pedophilia/rape/molestation does not have as much to do with sex as it would appear. craig |
