Lettermen\'s BEST interview in years - Paris Hilton

OMG, I cried it was so funny!

I was lucky enough to watch it on TV, brilliant stuff!

"I don't want to talk about my time in jail anymore."
"And that's where you and I are different."

That is just brilliant.

The way he so clearly patronizes her is hilarious.

the beginning was awesome, with letterman asking regular boring questions then right into "How'd you like being in jail?"

That was awesome.

This was amazing and I hate Letterman now. I wish him and Leno did stuff like this more often since they are untouchable and on there way out anyway.

It's awesome to see a little of the old CBS Letterman resurfacing. Stuff like this is why Letterman used to be untouchable.

Is Paris a bit slow in the head or something?

yes, she is thickheaded and a poor communicator. Sadly many of our pop-idols are (Diddy comes to mind as the ultimate example).

I used to work for Puffy.. that man is a brain surgeon. I've met Paris twice, she is not too smart and not a good communicator, but I agree the level of Dumb Blond that she projects is an act. She is however a fantastic manipulator.

I don't think I've seen an example of Puffy being a bad communicator. If you have a story or link that would back it up post it.

who knows, it's possible they're actually good friends and he was just joking around, but when richard offered one of his nasty-ass health cookies and letterman just proded it with a pencil and then threw it off his desk poor richard looked like he was about to cry

I only ever watched it for the opener and the top 10 list, and even that was only marginal IMO.

The David Letterman Story

from his 15th anniversary show which I still remember being one of the funniest things I've ever seen on TV. Wish I could find it somewhere.
