Very standard. Get it all in there. This thread should be locked, there is no question here. You are ahead of pretty much anything but a set of sevens or Q7. His range is much much wider than that.

I actually think that you're ahead here or tie very often. If he has a set of sevens then that's too bad but if you start folding these hands on these boards you're losing a lot of value in the long run.

I'm not usually thinking that I'm beat here, but he seems like a very solid player and probably put me on an OP or a Q which is what made him push his stack in.

Of course I got it in, and of course he had 77. Look it may sound [censored] stupid, but the way he played the hand was 77, and nothing else. Maybe I'm being a little narrow minded but usually when I see a limper from early position, I assume either SC, or low PP. And damn was I right.

Yeah I pressed that call button pretty quickly, but I was expecting to see 77.

Again, solid player so far, limps, calls re-raise, pushes me on flop. So this may look like a joke, but I had a lot of validity behind my post.

I've seen him play and showdown hands and it just wouldn't make sense he would limp with QJ. Ok, so he's not solid in the way he should be playing PP, but he's solid enough to be playing a semi TAG game where he knows when to put his money in.

Of course if this hand happened again, would I call? Damn straight I will, but it was the combination of seeing villain play and the betting pattern of limping/calling that had me a little skeptical of holding the best hand.

I hope you don't take this too personally, but the above statement should pretty much tell you that this shouldn't have been a thread. You (and everyone else here) know that this is a hand where you have to get the money in, so it's probably best to just move on and forget about it. Posting this just gets a lot of people riled up over nothing.

When you see someone limping at NL10 you should generally be thinking "ATC".
