I'll think about it. I might be moving to 2/4 though since I'm kind of close to rolled for it now so I shouldn't bother you anymore...oh wait.

I just bet at the casino here. Its EZ and their lines are often behind the times.

Was thinking about putting $ on bodog though so I can do like $1 16 bet parlays and stuff.

a lot of my hatred of shortstackers really is just selfish, I want to make more an hour and deeper stacks gets me more money

but a big chunk of it is shortstackers really weaken game dynamics and make the game a lot less fun to play, I got into poker because it was fun to play, I likely wouldn't still be playing if it wasn't fun(at least some of the time, it can be really frustrating)

that and ratholing goes against everything that poker as a game stands for, money won stays on the table if you want to continue playing

WCGRider 09-30-2007 11:33 PM

Re: *** Official October Chat Thread: The Purple Goose ***

i can understand that and actaully agree for the most part, but a lot of the times people with short stacks have a horrible game and give up their money fairly easily, its just you never take it in the way a set over set does.

WCGRider 09-30-2007 11:34 PM

Re: *** Official October Chat Thread: The Purple Goose ***

And btw i actually have never shortstacked before, and god willing never will again ; p.

Re: *** Official October Chat Thread: The Purple Goose ***

From the last thread:

Phresh: Iunno what set him off, but the next day he tried to talk [censored] again and I did for a bit but it got old so I just told him I didn't feel like messing with it anymore, but whenever I tried to have any conversation with any other player he would throw insults in and try to constantly make really idiotic comments. It was actually quite immature and I was kinda disappointed that a stupid "bigger epeen" match turned into him just constantly being a dbag and not giving up. I ended up not responding to anything he said by the end of it although he was very persistent to get into any other conversation I had, but hopefully he gets over it soon lol. I don't think highly of his game already(15/7 ftw), so hopefully he will get mad and spew off some chips to me.

Renton: I personally haven't received any payment. I need this to feed my kids mang

Fwiw, i dont agree.

This is an old concept carried over from the days of live poker - if you want lets take it to the extreme; if you are ever up on a table you can never leave because winners dont quit the losers. In one swoop game selection is out the window.

I've also watched football and railed the wcoop all day instead of studying for a midterm I have tomorrow.

Roto is so boring though , in H2H it's fun to watch games knowing, for example, that you need x player to drain y threes to edge out your opponent for a 5-4 victory.

but its not boring in the sense that every time a player has a big day it matters whereas a lot of your big days count for [censored] in h2h since someone already has the category on lock
