rumor has it he turned down the level 2 sponsorship b/c they wouldn't make him a level 1 pro (matusow, ivey, etc... the guys w/ commercials).

in barcelona he told me he'd gotten a lot of other offers, including pokerstars (or that he could easily get pokerstars, I can't remember), but that he was waiting for full tilt. good for him.

a few days ago Kaibuxxe and LarzLuzak were talking on a table. Larz was saying how he's looking for a sponsorship and that he might go to some ept event. Kaibuxxe was saying he should go etc..

i'm not going to discount this entirely, but it's doubtful.
UB, never really played the big time NLHE or PLO games full-stacked and only ever played when notaima or some other big fish was in the game. unless it was under an account other than UB.
