Florida colleges... anyone go to one?
 

Hey everyone, I am a senior from FL and go to boarding school up North and want to look at all my schools in FL... my top choice is UM but i also want to look at other places but im not sure where... UF is kind of huge and im not really iterested in FSU. does anyone go to USF or any other schools in FL that would be willing to talk.

I wish I went to college in Florida, I wouldn't have to endure -10 degree winters. Have you looked at U of Miami?

I've heard Daytona Beach Community College is pretty close to the beach.

Going to UF for law now.
Went to FIU in Miami for Undergrad.
I personally think that UM is too expensive for the quality of education, which is why I passed.

The UM campus may not ACTUALLY be bigger than UF's (I say may because it is pretty close), but Miami is definitely more overwhelming than Gainesville. Gainesville is three or four square miles in the middle of nowhere. Miami is a sprawling city with many different things to do, different cultures intermingling, etc. If you are thinking of passing on UF because it's too big, then perhaps going to school in Miami is not for you.
