Not sure if this is B, B or V - Football

Just scored tickets to the Giants Dolphins game in London in a months time.

I guess its a brag since I've never seen a live football game and its pretty unique it being in London.

Beat that these two teams pretty much suck ass by the looks of it.

Variance - being English. Oh and going with Tufat23.

No. Football is ok. NFL is better.

Edit: and its not even close if the football involves Dutch teams.

I take it that you have never actually watched an NFL game then? Or any decent Euro football game? Or maybe you just have a vagina?

Yeah, a pair of tickets that were over-ordered by 1 million and are selling on the secondary market at $800 despite not being transferable is pretty much a big brag.

Beat: Using "by the looks of it" and not knowing much about football.

The biggest beat is that they've billed this as "This time it matters" (Having only had pre-season games before) and then the start to the season is in danger of cancelling that out (It's a week 8 game)

Most likely I have a vagina.

I've tried to watch superbowl twice (IIRC) from TV, but fell asleep both times. The game is so slow it's extremely painful to watch.

I liked football (euro) as a kid (mainly because I played for ~10 years) and watched tons of games (mostly from TV, but I've seen a few games at stadiums with 30k-40k people).

When I got older watching wasn't exciting anymore unless I was betting at the results, but I don't bet sports anymore as making +EV bets takes a lot of time I don't have.

Any man associated with American Gladiators can not be considered to suck ass. Also, Larry Csonka is in the hall of fame so he must have been a pretty good player in the 70s as well.

Watching most games/sports/whatever is boring. Participating is usually fun.

I dislike bacon though.

Only started following NFL this season, so please excuse my ignorance.

Though both defences seems to suck and the offenses don't seem to suck quite as much so hopefully there will be a fair few points put on the board.

Just remember to focus your attention on the Dolphins Cheerleaders in between plays.

Have a good day out, I'm jealous.

(The only game I've seen live was BYU killing Oregon, although I did get to see a decent player in John Beck, who you may see in garbage time as Miami drafted him. The difference is he's about the worst player you'll see and the best I saw)

I did coach a game once, but that was the tag version or whatever it's called now. (We did win though )

Thanks, it was rather a long time ago, we trailed 6-0 at the half (Three safties ldo) but 2 point converted a TD ftw (you try finding an English 16-year old 20 years ago who could kick FGs)

Re: Not sure if this is B, B or V - Football

For my euro pals:

Larry Czonka did not suck. He was awesome. He's in the Hall of Fame.

These teams are pretty mediocre, but that's the beauty of the NFL. The gratitious violence and collisions will make up for the lack of skill on either team. And each team does have a great wideout - NY has Plaxico Burress and Miami has Chris Chambers. Zach Thomas is an incredible defender (LB) for Miami, and Micheal Strahan is a great one for NY (DE).

FWIW, I'm a Detroit Lions season ticket holder for the past few seasons. So I know a thing or two about bad American football. Both these teams are stellar compared to some of the bums I've cheered for.
