Biggest 2+2 fall from grace?
 

2+2 is pretty cliquey and people can go from loved to hated to loved again in a short spell of time. But who has had the largest fall? I think Gildwulf's journey from BBV heartthrob to much loathed mod and back to elder statesman of the forums is quite a strong contender but I'm interested in your opinions? RJ merely disliked to loathed? Elainemonster? What do you say?

Definitely vig for the general population. People make mistakes all the time, though. (I'm assuming he gambled away the money trying to win more for the good case.) Same with ZJ, he just made a mistake. It might be good that people make a big deal out of it but it's not a big deal to me.

To me, the biggest fall from grace was Mason Malmuth in the AQ vs JJ thread.

JJProdigy was a mod here at one point, then was stripped of that for banning SpicyF then quit 2p2 then was busted for multi-accounting then busted again.

I think Vince Lapore (sp?) had his own forum ala El Diablo at some point long ago, but that was before the site got so popular.

Also add "Toddy", a MTT poster who scammed a bunch of people when he held the money for a Survivor League in Sports.

Cliff Notes of Hilarity:

1. Toddy keeps up with e-mails the whole time, updating, posting on 2+2, etc. Then it comes to end of season and he goes MIA.

2. I send him an e-mail asking where the money is. He responds with "I'm in big trouble. I'm so sorry."

3.He then IMs me and acts shocked and says he didn't send the email, even though I forward it back to him. He says his account was hacked or something. Then he says "brb switching computers" and never returns.

4. I make post asking where he is. ShaunDeeb tells me to stop whining about a few hundred bucks. I call him a loser. He says "I'll give everyone the money just to shut you up".

5. He actually ships over $1K to everyone in the league that deserved it, despite having nothing to do with. just showing off.

6. apparently toddy showed up weeks later claiming to not know what happened and i heard he might have paid shaun back.

he goes from beloved author to pansy houseboy of a pyscho and leaves his publishing company pretty much because of his overbearing wife, any other excuse he/she she used for his departure is just smoke and mirrors and it was obv.

this is easily the winner. grannymae was pretty much revered and now there are maybe a handful of people on the whole site who don't think hes pretty much a pathetic troll and scum. Lori had a similar fall, but he wasnt as revered nor fell as far, plus he posts in the bbv community sometimes and seems to be well recieved.
